She is an expert quilter who’s commissioned work graces homes in California, British Columbia, Manitoba and Europe. Pearl has assembled a friendly, knowledgeable staff who love to celebrate, encourage and enable your creativity. Stop in to meet them. Take another look at our logo. A pearl in a shell … the quilters’ jewel! When Pearl bought an existing quilt shop, she knew she wanted to make it unique and new. It would be a classic quilt shop appealing to quilters who appreciate heirloom quality fabric and design. It would be a shop that encouraged the quilt artist and designer within every quilter. While she was dreaming up possible store names and logos, a talented friend gave her a hand made card featuring an original water color painting to encourage her … and the rest is history. We're housed in a big restored heritage barn. We're surrounded by stone buildings erected by Scottish masons more than a century ago. Come on inside and look around.
