Fat Quarter Book Cover
www.thequiltersjewel.com

Make a simple book cover using an old box and a fat quarter of fabric. Fill it with fat quarters and tie it with a ribbon … a great gift for any occasion!
Cut an 8” by 12” piece of corrugated cardboard with the length of the piece going across the grain.
Score two lines in the cardboard to create the spine of your book.
Wrap the cardboard in a fat quarter of fabric, much as you would wrap a flat gift using pins instead of tape. Do not cut the fat quarter – it can be reused for a quilt project! Fold over the long raw edge before pinning in place. Tuck the ends behind the cardboard to create neat corners.
Fold 3 to 4 fat quarters to fit the size of the cover and tie with a pretty ribbon. You don’t need to be a reader to enjoy this book!
