Spring Quilt Market in Minneapolis

Pearl and Barb went to Market with YOU in mind ... and found some amazing stuff we know you'll love. It's 4 days of hard work, terrific inspiration and fabulous networking. We also loved the wonderful atmosphere of downtown Minneapolis.

Every vendor creates an enticing display of their products along with examples of projects so wandering around market is a feast for the eyes ... with some surprises along the way!

To top it all off, there was a wonderful quilt show to view ... as if we needed more visual input!
Quilters create amazing beauty with fabric, thread, and design. We always leave inspired and wish you could all see the amazing quilts we've been lucky enough to see first hand. Hope these pictures give you a glimpse of Market. We'll be back again to Houston in fall!
Through the days of the Vancouver Winter Olympics people came to sew quilt tops for refugees around the world.

Scraps and yardage were turned into beautiful messengers of love, warmth, and hope.
Thank you for coming to help.

More people brought quilts they'd sewn at home for the project.
We couldn't believe your generosity.
Our goal ... to break our Winter Olympic record from 2006 of 19 quilt tops
Together we shattered that record!
All quilts were donated to the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) who will quilt or tie the quilt tops
and distribute them around the world to those who need warmth and comfort.
